Welcome to the Fulgur website. Fulgur is a company with a tradition! We believe you will enjoy our portfolio of lighting units.

Since establishing the business in Brno in 1991, we have been manufacturing, importing and distributing a wide variety of lighting units in the Czech and Slovak markets. We supply to the vast majority of wholesalers in both countries and export to several other European countries.

FULGUR-OPPLE interior lighting units complete with electronic ballast and T5 fluorescent tube have been one of the main items for a long time. Their price level is very friendly compared with other prices on the market. Further, these units can boast of simple, modern design, very easy installation and high reliability. The lighting units form comprehensive design ranges of circular, square and linear shapes. Products of one range can be freely combined in harmony in an interior. For example, the smallest circular surface-fixed unit has a diameter of 210 mm while the largest 650 mm! Such large units are fitted with up to three circular fluorescent tubes, which can be independently switched on/off by a combination switch. Dimming electronics is another – relatively new – feature in selected products, which can continuously adjust the required illumination level. Due to their high luminosity, fewer of these units are needed to provide the required illumination level, which can represent great financial savings. Compared to the traditional incandescent light bulbs, these units excel with up to 80% electricity savings. They have fast start up, so they eliminate the well-known start-up blinking of older types of fluorescent lighting units. Plastic diffusers create an impression of opal glass. They are light, flexible and do not shatter into dangerous splinters if broken.

In addition, we supply plastic lighting units with E 27 screw caps for energy-saving lamps and sensor-controlled units. We can incorporate sensors in the vast majority of the lighting units presented in our catalogue and in units of other producers. Our new items include Melissa sensor-controlled units with IP 65 protection suitable for exteriors and a large range of energy-saving lamps of different shapes, sizes, colour temperatures and electrical power.

Which light source?

FULGUR-OPPLE lighting units use modern T5 fluorescent tubes, which feature high luminosity. They always emit light in three bands simultaneously, thus providing really high-quality illumination. Their lifespan is comparable with other brand-name lamps. As mentioned before, FULGUR supplies to the vast majority of electrical fixture wholesalers, to major DIY chains such as Globus, Hornbach, OBI and Baumax, as well as to selected specialised retail stores.

We in FULGUR also produce our own lighting units with metal, manually cupped bodies, which excel for the uniqueness of their “inverse shapes”, which are difficult to achieve in machine production. These units can be ordered in white, brass or chromium with glass diffuser – triplex matt opal. In addition to these, we offer emergency lighting systems and discharge lights for industrial halls. Our portfolio of emergency lights is impressive.
